Mustang Round up mini Event *Update*

So, I had an AWESOME idea for a mini event!! A mustang round up!!

Information
It is fall on the range that the mustangs call home and the BLM is starting round ups again, but this year Kaleigh Summers called and struck a deal with the BLM; if she can get several stables to participate in a human round up the BLM will allow them round up the mustangs this season. So Kaleigh is now calling around to every stable owner that she knows and is asking them to participate in this round up so that the BLM can get the horses that they want off the range but the horses do not have to be traumatized by being chased down the mountains by helicopters. This round up will be a classic style round up where participants go out on horseback and humanly round up mustangs. Only your most reliable horses should be brought on this round up since a round up is quite demanding on horses. But most importantly lets have fun and in the end everyone that participates will get to take home a mustang (and or mustangs) of their dreams!

Rules for the competition
No re-used images, linearts, etc. This must be a completely new piece
No background is required! But you maybe have one if you want, this can be a picture background as long as it is given the proper credit
All breeds/types of horses are accepted!
No shading necessary! A flat colored image with a finished, clean sketch is fine or flat color with a lineart.
Entry must be full body picture
Horses of all ages are welcome
Any clothing and tack is accepted
there's no registration needed just send in your finished work
Just draw your rider/riders on their horses looking for the mustangs or maybe finding a herd. Be creative!
stories and RPs can be submitted to dA and sent to me that way, they can be in a .txt file, or a word document. I can give you one of my email addresses if you need to email it to me

More on the end date: You do not have to get your entries in by December 25th, but it would be nice because then your designs will be kinda like my Christmas gift to you

About the day
It will be chilly, so horses and riders should be dressed appropriately. The skies will be a crisp, clear blue with a few clouds. The terrain will be uneven and rocky so horses and riders should be prepared for that as well as the actual skills involved in rounding up wild horses. the itinerary is as follows...

Friday
11 am: Our group will be setting off
Until 7pm: We will be traveling up the mountain to were the mustangs were last sighted
7pm: We will be stopping and making camp
7:30pm: Group Dinner
10pm: lights out

Saturday
8am: Everyone wakes up and we have a group breakfast (yes, there will be coffee! lol)
9:30am: We tack up and scatter over the mountain to search for mustangs
7pm: It is getting dark and every should be back by then.
7:30pm: Group Dinner
10pm: lights out

Sunday
8am: Everyone wakes up and we have a group breakfast
9:30am: We tack up and scatter over the mountain to search for mustangs one last time
1pm: We pack up and head back down the mountain
10pm: arrive back where we started with the rounded up mustangs, say our goodbyes, and everyone heads home


About the Competition
This is not really a competition, I kinda hoped that since we are all going out together and camping together everyone would RP with each other. So how this will work is you draw a picture of your rider/riders out looking for mustangs, discovering a herd, camping with other riders, horses interacting, etc etc. Basically anything involved in a round up. And for your actual image you get 2 mustangs designed by me (I WOULD like suggestions of what you like, it will make designing easier) but you can earn more than 2 designs. If you write a story (doesn't have to be long, just a little something) you get 2 designs. And then if you RP with someone you can also get 2 designs. So say you want 4 designs but don't have time for art, you can RP with someone and write a short story. So if you do all 3 you can get a total of 6 designs. Then best image, best RP, and best collab get an extra 2 designs. Hope that makes sense!
